Psalm 56:3 “When I am afraid, I will
trust in you.”
Trusting in the Lord is a choice that only
you can make. When you are tempted to be afraid, remind yourself
that you have confidence in the Lord. Say that you confidently
put your trust completely in Him and declare that you will not
fear.
Psalm 115:9 “O house of Israel , trust
in the LORD — he is their help and shield.”
Lean on, rely on, and be confident in the
Lord! He is your help and shield.
He knows every situation that you will ever face; He knows, and
if you choose to give Him thanks instead of worry about your
situation the outcome is in His hands, not yours!
Psalm 107:8 “Let them give thanks to
the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for
men,”
Psalm 107:15 “Let them give thanks to
the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for
men,”
Psalm 107:21-22 “He sent forth his word
and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give
thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful
deeds for men.”
Oh, that man would praise and confess to the
Lord for His goodness and loving-kindness and His wonderful
works to the children of men! And let them sacrifice the
sacrifices of thanksgiving and rehearse His deeds with shouts of
joy and singing!
Get the message? Instead of rehearsing the
problem over and over in your mind, rehearse His deed over and
over in your mind.
Psalm 107: 1-2 “Give thanks to the
LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed
of the LORD say this— those he redeemed from the hand of the
foe,”
Instead of walking the floor worrying about
the problem, let us walk the floor praising God because He has
the answer.

Ecclesiastes 3: 1 “There is a time for
everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:”
As women we are naturally equipped with an
instinct to be care takers. We each have a mother instinct
within us, purposed by God with good reason. No one can care for
your children like you do. However, caring for your children is
a changing process. For example, when they are babies, the care
they need is different from the care needed as teenagers, and
continues to change as they reach adulthood.
Oh, the ever-changing role of motherhood! Our
children will always need us and we will always need God’s
direction to meet those needs.
Psalm 25:4-5 “Show me your ways, O
LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”
Today, I want to talk to you woman to woman.
As a woman, you may struggle with this natural instinct by
taking on responsibilities that are not purposed by God for you
to take on.
Do you worry about things that you have no
control over? Is your mind filled with faith or fear? The
effects of being an emotional caretaker only brings worry
concerning things that in reality, you have no control over.
Have faith in God. He is in control, not you. You cannot do what
only He can do, and He will not do what He has called you to do.
He desires for you to completely trust in Him. Put yourself into
the position of prayer. Prayer changes things! Prayer changes
you! You receive the direction and peace that you need when you
turn your heart towards Heaven.
James 4:10 “Humble yourselves before
the Lord, and he will lift you up.”
When you bow down before the Lord and admit
your dependence on Him, He will lift you up and give you honor.
God has everything that concerns you, in His care. Will you
trust Him?
Proverbs 16:9 “In his heart a man plans
his course, but the Lord determines his steps.”
We can make our plans, but the Lord
determines our steps. Will you turn your heart towards heaven
and seek His direction through prayer? God has a plan and when
you trust Him completely He will give you the direction that you
need right when you need it. He is faithful to guide your every
step.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with
all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all
your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths
straight.”
The truth is, God is not liable to do things
your way. As you begin to trust Him more, your faith will
actually grow to become a childlike faith.

2 Chronicles 20:12 “O our God, will you
not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that
is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are
upon you.”
Have you ever prayed this way when you were faced with
something totally out of your ability to control? Have you ever
become consumed with a paralyzing fear once you realized the
seriousness of your situation?
2 Chronicles 20:15 “He said: "Listen,
King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem ! This
is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged
because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but
God's.”
Do not try to fight something you have no control over,
if you do you could become frustrated, exhausted, discouraged,
overwhelmed, and emotionally unstable. Don’t try to fight
something that you have no control over, instead take your
position of trusting your God, only His fighting will bring
victory.
2 Chronicles 20:17 “You will not have
to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see
the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem .
Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them
tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.'”
Regardless of the severity of your situation,
you can go out knowing the Lord is with you. However, as long as
you stay in the murmuring and complaining stage of frustration
this battle is in your care. But when you begin to sing and to
praise the Lord, it is at that moment when the Lord takes
complete control over the battle and the countdown to victory
begins ... 10, 9, 8....
2 Chronicles 20:22 “As they began to
sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon
and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were
defeated.”
This is when the Lord will set an ambush against your problem
and that problem may very well appear to take care of itself,
hmmm. The reality is, once the victory battle begins all the
pressure you’ve been experiencing will start to be released, and
soon this pressure will be changed to a praise of victory.
Don't be afraid! This battle is not yours;
this battle belongs to the Lord!
In His Grace,
Rose
