The Lord wants to speak to you face to face.
He desires to be your friend; a true friend that you can truly
trust.
James 2:23 “And the scripture was
fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited
to him as righteousness," and he was called God's friend.”
Do you want to be considered a friend of God?
He’s already made the first move towards you. You can love Him
and trust Him because He loved you first.
1 John 4:19 “We love because he first
loved us.”
Jesus loves you so much, He is a true friend.
He is loyal to you and available every time that you need Him.
Proverbs 17:17 “A friend loves at all
times,…”
His love is so great that He laid down His
life for you.
John 15:13 “Greater love has no one
than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”
Do you remember when you first began your relationship
with Jesus? It was His love that compelled you to receive Him as
your Lord and Savior. Do you still have that first kind of love.
I encourage you to take time today to renew your love for Jesus
Christ by spending some quit time with Him. Tell Him you love
Him, and thank Him for loving you. Allow His presence to
saturate your heart and mind as you take the time to focus on
Him, today! Allow your love for Him to be refreshed and renewed.
This will bring a song to your heart and a new skip in your
step. You'll be glad you did. Jesus loves you, and He will never
change His mind about that.

Psalm 146:6 “... the Lord, who remains
faithful forever.”
Our God is a faithful God. He is a forever
faithful God who will forever be the same.
Isaiah 25:1 “O Lord, you are my God; I
will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness
you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.”
God has your life planned. Your purpose and
your victories are predestined by your faithful God. You do not
have to walk through your day in fear, despair, or even in want.
The Lord your God knows you very well. He knows everything about
you, and His plans are already in progress. When the cares and
concerns of life are facing you, cast your cares upon the Lord
and completely trust in His faithfulness and enjoy your day.
Psalm 55:22 “Cast your cares on the
Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous
fall.”
Because God has plans for your entire life,
don’t you think it should be obvious that He has a plan to take
care of everything that concerns you? God would not have called
you if His power could not enable you. The earth is full of His
unfailing love.
Psalm 33:4 - 5 “For the word of the
Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The Lord
loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his
unfailing love.”
Be encouraged because of God’s unfailing
love. He is a forever God, and you are forever His. Rest in His
perfect love and release all your fear to Him. Do not let
yourself be troubled. Take care of your responsibilities, and
simply trust God to take care of the things that you cannot care
for. God is a forever faithful God.

2 Timothy 1:7 “For God did not give us
a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of
self-discipline.”
When you find yourself in a crisis situation
always remember you have the ability to stay calm and
well-balanced knowing that God is still in control. Nothing
takes Him by surprise. Tap into His power by thanking Him for
who He is, being fully persuaded that He is Lord of all and that
nothing can separate you from His love.
Romans 8:38-39 “For I am convinced that
neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the
present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor
depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to
separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our
Lord.”
If things are running smooth in your life,
remember that it is in times of crisis that others are looking
for encouragement. Why not be the one to share your faith and
confidence with those who are hurting around you? When you share
His love, others will be comforted, encouraged, and changed.
1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love.
But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with
punishment.”
You have been chosen by the creator of Heaven
and earth to live in the time and location that you are in. Be
ready and available at all times to receive or to give to those
in need. You can be the one to allow the Prince of Peace to be
evident in your life today.

Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep in perfect
peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.”
Where does your mind go when you meditate on
the word “Peace”? Webster says that peace is a state of calm and
quiet; freedom from disturbing thoughts or emotions. I think we
could agree that it would be absolutely wonderful to stay in a
state of mind that is free from disturbing thoughts or emotions
Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious
about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of
God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts
and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
You must communicate to God what you are
going through and be thankful that He is genuinely concerned
about everything that concerns you. He is God your Father and
you are His child.
Philippians 4:8-9 “Finally, brothers,
whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever
is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything
is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever
you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put
it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”
Regardless of your circumstances, you can
have peace if you take the effort to keep your mind focused on
that which is good.

James 4:8 “Come near to God and he will
come near to you...”
Have you ever tried to approach a scared
puppy? You just wanted to get close enough to let it sniff your
hand. Then you gently pat it on the head, as if to say, "You can
trust me, I won't hurt you." As the puppy begins to still, you
pet it, and gently scoop it up into your arms. Soon the puppy is
content to be in your loving arms and snuggles into a perfect
position, completely relaxes, and falls sound asleep. There was
a process that took place before the puppy was able to come to
the place of complete trust and confidence.
Psalm 73:28 “But as for me, it is good to
be near God. I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge;”
Coming to that place of complete trust and
confidence in your Lord is also a process. It is a process that
only you can initiate. I encourage you to find that quiet,
peaceful place to be still before God. Be still in a listening
silence. Take a quiet peaceful moment to hear His voice as He
draws close to you during the stillness of the moment bringing
about a great calm on the inside of you.
Mark 4:39 “He got up, rebuked the wind and
said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down
and it was completely calm.”
Be at peace as you rest in His arms of Grace.
