Proverbs 23:26 “..
give me your heart and let your eyes
keep to my ways,”
When you give something away, you
relinquish all control over to the new
owner. The new owner has the liberty to
make any and all change without your
permission. When you give God your
heart, that means that you are
completely surrendering, completely
letting go, and releasing all of your
control over to Him .
Psalm 51:6 “...... you teach me
wisdom in the inmost place.”
God knows what is best for you. He
knows everything about you.
We have lived in our home for over 23
years. With the help of my family, I
have designed and created a beautiful
landscaped yard. I have spent many hours
seeking God for inspiration concerning
each design. From the very first onset
of early spring, until late fall, there
is continuous blooms. We have even won a
beautification award from the city. When
we someday sell our home, I will no
longer have any control over the
appearance of this yard, because it will
no longer be mine. The new owner’s could
tear it all up, and I would have no
right to say or do anything. It doesn’t
matter how much work or money that we
put into our yard, it is up to the new
owners to make any changes that they
would like to make.
Can you imagine the change that would
take place in your life if you
surrendered all! If you gave up complete
control and ownership of everything
about you to God! Even the things you
have spent years working on! Your
surrendering would give your Lord
complete liberty over change.
Psalms 51:10 “Create in me a pure
heart, O God, and renew a steadfast
spirit within me.”
Give your heart to the Lord Jesus
Christ. He knows every change that needs
to be made, and He knows how to make
every change perfectly just right.
James 1:3-4 “When your faith is
tested, your endurance has a chance to
grow... For when your endurance is fully
developed, you will be strong in
character and ready for anything.”
Be encouraged as you surrender all!

Peace and contentment can
be a reality in your life.
John 14:27 “Peace I
leave with you; My [own] peace I now give
and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives
do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be
troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop
allowing yourselves to be agitated and
disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to
be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and
unsettled.]”
God wants you to be content. Contentment
is being satisfied where you are, but all
the while keeping your heart at full
attention towards your wonderful Lord and
Savior. He is faithful to direct your every
step, keeping you on track. True contentment
is a sense of inward sufficiency that is not
conditioned by your outward circumstances.
True contentment comes when you are at ease,
trusting your Lord by being willing and
teachable.
Isaiah 54:13 “And
all your [spiritual] children shall be
disciples [taught by the Lord and obedient
to His will], and great shall be the peace
and undisturbed composure of your children.”
Can you imagine having undisturbed
composure? You can! You are a child of God
and He wants to teach you, His child, to
have true contentment. Are you willing to
learn?
Philippians 4:11 “... for I have
learned how to be content (satisfied to the
point where I am not disturbed or
disquieted) in whatever state I am.”
Contentment does not come naturally, it
is a learned behavior. Life is
unpredictable, it is inevitable that you
will face circumstances beyond your control.
Peace and contentment come from the Spirit
of God that is present within you. Be still
and tap into the presence of the Prince of
Peace. He is faithful, He is steadfast. Are
you willing to trust your Lord to not fail
you? He will never relax His hold on you.
Hebrews 13:5 “.... for He [God]
Himself has said, I will not in any way fail
you nor give you up nor leave you without
support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I
will] not in any degree leave you helpless
nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My
hold on you)! [ Assuredly not!]”
You can trust that God's timing is
perfect. He is worthy to be trusted. Just
think about all that He has brought you
through.
Psalms 31:15 “My times are in Your
hands; .…”
As you trust your Lord, being Kingdom
Minded and having a willing heart, your hope
and expectation shall not be cut off.
Proverbs 23:18-19 “For surely there is
a latter end [a future and a reward], and
your hope and expectation shall not be cut
off. Hear, my son, and be wise, and direct
your mind in the way [of the Lord].”
God always has a Word of encouragement
for you!
John 16:33 I have told
you these things, so that in Me you may have
[perfect] peace and confidence. In the world
you have tribulation and trials and distress
and frustration; but be of good cheer [take
courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]!
For I have overcome the world. [I have
deprived it of power to harm you and have
conquered it for you.]
Be encouraged by His Word,

Esther 4:14 “For if you
remain silent at this time, relief and
deliverance for the Jews will arise from another
place, but you and your father's family will
perish. And who knows but that you have come to
royal position for such a time as this?"
God has a special purpose
for you. He has planned specific things for you
to say and do. His timing is so important in the
completion of His plan for your life. You have
come to the kingdom for such a time as this.
Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the
womb I knew you, before you were born I set you
apart; I appointed you…”
This is the time God
purposed for you to be born. That’s why your
here. This is the place God intended for you to
be. That’s why your here. Everything about you
is all part of God’s purpose and plan for your
life and for the lives of those around you. You
have been created for His glory.
Isaiah 43:7 “everyone who is called by my
name, whom I created for my glory,
whom I formed and made.”
It is your responsibility
to discover God’s plan and purpose for you. It’s
up to you to seek after God and His
righteousness.
Matthew 6:33 “But seek first his
kingdom and his righteousness, and all these
things will be given to you as well.”
As you are seeking Him, you
will discover your purpose along the way. You
will find yourself in the position God has
called you to be. But you must keep your focus
on Him as you are seeking. What you fix your
attention on will become magnified in your life.
What becomes magnified in your life will consume
everything about you.
Hebrews12:2 “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus,
the author and perfecter of our faith, who for
the joy set before him endured the cross,
scorning its shame, and sat down at the right
hand of the throne of God.”
Keep looking to Jesus,
fix your attention on Him, what He has started
in you, He will finish. Allow Him to be
magnified in your life. He has everything
perfectly planned out. I encourage you to not
give up. Don’t be moved by what is happening
around you. Keep your focus on Jesus, He knows
everything about what you are going through. He
is mindful of every detail.
“Who knows, maybe you have
come to the kingdom for such a time as this.”
