Word of Encouragement

2 Corinthians 3:16”…but
whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.”
Have you turned to
the Lord? The word turn here is talking about repentance, you
see, change will not take place without your participation. Your
part is to turn to the Lord with a heart of repentance for
trying to do things your way. As you humble yourself and turn
to the Lord the veil of sin is removed. For our God cannot
resist a humble spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:17
“Now the Lord is
the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is
freedom.”
Turn to the Lord and
receive the freedom to be all He created you to be. Free to
serve Him. Free to love others. Free from all your worldly
desires. Free to walk out your dreams. Free to believe that God
created you special - unique - ordained for such a time as
this. Free to seek Him face to face. Free to behold His
Glory. Free to behold Him for whom He really is. God is Love.
2 Corinthians 3:18
“And
we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are
being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory,
which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
When you come to the
place where you can behold Him face to face, the process of
transformation begins. You are changed in His presence. His
awesome love has the power to transform your human likeness into
His Glorious resemblance. You can shine today with the love of
Jesus that will not only affect you, but also will affect
everyone around you.
Recognize God for who He is and allow Him to be all He is to
you!
Turn to the Lord and you will be changed!

Colossians 3:12
“Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, …”
You have been chosen
by God. He dearly loves you. It is my prayer for you to
understand just how dearly His love for you is! Once you
embrace this truth, an inward change will take place. This
inward change will not take place without your
participation. Once you have embraced this true love, repentance
follows. The inward change of repentance results in an outward
change of obedience.
Colossians 3:12-14 “...clothe yourselves with compassion,
kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each
other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one
another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these
virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect
unity.”
God has individually picked out a wardrobe for you to
wear. Please imagine with me; going to your closet, may I say
your, “Prayer Closet”, to see this great designer
wardrobe. However, God will not force you to put on compassion,
kindness, humility, gentleness or patience. Even though your
Master Designer knows just how awesome, spectacular,
breathtaking, awe-inspiring, and humbling you will look wearing
this specially designed clothing, the choice is individually
yours. Imagine all the incredible possibilities of putting on
this behavior marked by being tenderhearted, even-tempered, and
content. Imagine the results of not being “me minded“, wanting
to be first, but rather putting others first, and being quick
to forgive every offense.
Colossians 3:12-14 “Therefore, as God's chosen people,
holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion,
kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each
other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one
another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these
virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect
unity.”
You have been chosen to walk Gods way. A great price has been
paid to enable you to live this sacrificial holy life. Embrace
the truth of God’s marvelous love and be free to embrace this
new way of life.
Be encouraged with your new wardrobe!

Have you ever prayed something
like; “Lord, Give me patience, and give it to me right now
before someone gets hurt”?
James 1:19 “… take note of this: Everyone should be quick
to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,”
The next time that you are frustrated by the choices of
others, ask yourself the following: Why am I so frustrated?
What is the real issue here? Pause to take time to understand
that God knows the entirety of what is going on in you as well
as with the other individuals involved. Remind yourself that God
has enabled you to endure all things.
2 Corinthians 12:9 … "My grace is sufficient for you, for
my power is made perfect in weakness." …
Grace is God’s enabling power. He has given you the ability
to make the right choice, now you need to draw from His presence
to say and do the right thing.
Proverbs 15:1 “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a
harsh word stirs up anger.”
Your Words are a powerful force. The words you speak can
build a person up, or tear them down. Your words can cut like a
knife or lift up a heavy heart, including your own self
talk. Remember that you always have a choice concerning how you
respond.
Proverbs 18:21 “The tongue has the power of life and death
…”
The truth is, regardless of how much you think you are in
control, you are not. Instead of saying something you will
later regret, I encourage you to take the time to set yourself
apart and seek God for His direction. It is so much better to
wait on God then to try and take matters into your own care.
Psalm 37:7 “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently
for him;”
Instead of praying for patience, “be patient.”
Be encouraged!

Gen 1:31 “God saw all
that he had made, and it was very good….”
You are a unique individual; a
one of a kind specifically designed by the Master Designer
Himself.
Everything about you has been strategically planned by the
Masters complete knowledge and understanding of where He would
place you in time, location and culture.
Everything about you; your strengths and weaknesses, your
personality, your likes and dislikes, the color of your eyes,
your individual shape and size. Everything about you was
fashioned strategically by the hand of the almighty Creator
Himself.
John 1:3”Through him all things were made; without him
nothing was made that has been made.”
Have you accepted the creation that God created when He
created you? Do you accept yourself for who God created you do
be? Will you allow you to be you without looking to others to
find out who you are? When you look at others you will find
yourself comparing.
We are not to compare ourselves with each other; we are to
complete each other with ourselves.
Have you accepted the creation that God created when He
created you? You are beautiful. You are precious. You are God’s
master creation. I challenge you to begin to celebrate who God
created you to be. Enjoy being you! I encourage you to allow
yourself to be set free to be yourself. Stop trying to be
someone else. Stop trying to look and act like someone
else. Freedom will become evident when you stop trying so hard
and you begin to believe with all your heart and soul that Jesus
Christ is your personal Lord!
Be free to be all that God created you to be.
Gen 1:31 “God saw all that he had made, and it was very
good…”
Be encouraged as you, be you! (U.B.U.)
